If you want to avoid getting hurt, this is about the best that you can do toward achieving that goal. It feels like bullet-proof armor and probably is.
This armor weighs a bit, but being Forcefield and a premium product, it balances excellently on the shoulders and riders don't seem to complain. The open-air style of this armor is popular for keeping cool, and we have found it to be very popular among the big bike ADV clients.
Generally, this armor is used as over armor, which means clothes go underneath it.
The Sales Stuff
Designed for extreme action the all new EX-K Harness Flite+ is reinforced with Kevlar® thread for added strength and durability and features an open design system and multiple adjustment points for optimum flexibility and comfort. An easy to use central front zip, neck brace location point and class leading CE Level 2 back, chest and shoulder armour combine to create the ultimate in upper body protection. The EX-K Harness is made with the high energy absorbing material Nitrex Evo® which is soft, flexible and comfortable to wear and 3D moulds to the body shape in use as well as offering RPT (Repeat Performance Technology) for continued and consistent protection even after multiple impacts. It offers great safety and protection, especially for your shoulders and elbows. The price is a bit on the high side, but it's definitely a worthy purchase.

The black and gold look matches my bike really well. This armor is a great fit and does a good job at keeping the heat away on a warm day. Several rides in and I think it's a useful purchase as it helps me ride more aggressively without the worry.
